Modigliani app for iPhone and iPad

This is an updated release for fans of Modigliani who attended the exhibition of his sculpture and paintings in at Museo dArte Moderna e Contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto ((MART) Dec 2010 to March 2011. The original release of this app at time of the exhibition ran on the first iPads but was subsequently removed due to developers error. Here is the original description in Italian and English. Ti invitiamo ad ammirare una selezione delle opere della mostra ìModigliani Scultoreî, prodotta dal Mart, Museo di Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto, e aperta dal 18 dicembre 2010 al 27 marzo 2011 a Rovereto.

Un evento irripetibile perchÈ riunisce ben otto sculture del grande artista, che insieme non si sono mai viste. In questa applicazione le puoi ammirare tutte. Ti proponiamo, per ogni opera, un confronto con le creazioni di grandi artisti del passato, di tradizioni lontane come líarte orientale e africana, o di maestri come Picasso e Brancusi, che hanno condiviso con Amedeo Modigliani il clima di grande rinnovamento artistico nella Parigi degli anni Dieci del Novecento.

Ti suggeriamo inoltre, per ogni opera, un approfondimento critico che aiuta a cogliere tutte le sfaccettature di questa mostra. I testi sono selezionati dal catalogo della mostra, e offrono uníanalisi totalmente inedita sulla scultura di Modigliani. Buona visione.

We invite you to admire a selection of works from the ìModigliani Sculptorî exhibition, produced by the Mart, Museo di Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto, and open from 18 December, 2010 to 27 March, 2011 in Rovereto.

This is an unrepeatable event because it brings together no less than eight sculptures by the great artist, which have never been seen together. In this application, you can admire them all. Next to each work, there is available a comparison with the creations of other great artists of the past, from distant traditions ñsuch as Oriental and African art ñ and by such great artists as Picasso and Brancusi, who shared the climate of artistic renewal with Amedeo Modigliani in Paris in the 1910s.

Alongside the images, there are some explanatory texts that help to explain the various facets of this exhibition. The tests have been selected from the exhibition catalogue and offer a totally new analysis of Modiglianiís sculpture. We hope you enjoy the tour!
